(Ocimum sanctum) Native to India, Tulsi is revered in Ayuvedic medicine as a powerful healing plant. Called “Queen of Herbs” and “The Elixir of Life”, Tulsi has been used for thousands of years for its healing properties. Our Tulsi comes from northern India in the area known as Oudh (Awadh).

Tulsi brews to a golden cup color and has a light lemon, mint taste that is slightly earthy. Delicious brewed hot or cold!
Brewing: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 8oz of boiling water. Steep for at least 5 minutes. Steeping longer (up to 10 minutes) will release more of the herbs healthful properties but may be too strong for some people. A touch of sweetener may be added.
