French Roast coffee beans are roasted a little longer than Viennese roasts but lighter than Italian roasts. This longer roasting time brings forth more oils from the bean and produces a somewhat bitter heavy cup with a pleasant spiciness. We find that we enjoy the French Roast best when brewed in a French Press coffeepot or espresso maker.
Brew a cup of French Roast – sit in a chair situated near a window with a fresh breeze blowing in – inhale the aroma, sip the dark brew – close your eyes – let your senses be one with the world.
